Follow up on every invoice, right through Muse.

Due is for the shops QuickBooks never captured — invoices that live in paper, email, and memory. Paste or forward one, and Due builds your aging ledger and drafts a follow-up when something's overdue. No accounting migration required: it works entirely from what you give it.

How it works

01

Paste or forward an invoice

02

Due builds your aging ledger

03

You get a draft follow-up to send yourself

Try asking

You forward Muse: “Client: Riverside Cafe, Invoice #4471, Amount: $1,240.00, Due: 2026-09-15.”

Muse replies confirming the invoice is tracked, with its aging bucket computed from the stated due date — never guessed.

You ask Muse: “What's overdue?”

Muse replies with an aging report — who owes what and how late, current through 90+ days, bucketed only from dates your own text actually stated.

You ask Muse: “Draft a nudge for that Riverside invoice.”

Muse replies with a follow-up message in your own set voice, at the right tone-ladder stage for how overdue it is — ready for you to review and send yourself.

What it uses

  • A sign-in ID. Sign-in is a one-time code sent to your email — no password to set or remember.

  • The invoices you paste or forward — normalized into client, amount, dates, and stated terms, and kept so Due can build your ledger. The raw text itself is never stored or logged; only a hash, so re-forwarding the same invoice never re-reads it.

  • Your preferred tone for follow-ups (friendly, professional, or firm) and, optionally, a message you've written before to match — only if you explicitly ask Due to remember it.

Nothing else: no accounting-software connection, no payment processing, no data shared between owners.

What it won't do

  • Due drafts; the owner sends. It never sends, schedules, or auto-sends a message on your behalf — every follow-up comes back as a draft for you to review and send yourself.

  • It never refers an account to collections or computes a late fee beyond what the invoice itself states. There's no payment step in this version — the owner collects directly.

  • It never invents a missing field. An invoice with no stated due date is never guessed into being overdue — it's flagged "terms not stated" instead, and Due never assumes net-30.

  • Every draft stays professional: no threats, no harassment, no consequence you haven't actually described yourself.
