Terms of Service — Countercard

By using Countercard (the "Service"), whether directly or through Meta's Muse, you agree to these terms.

What the Service does

Countercard builds and maintains one public page — links, socials, booking link, and contact info — for a business or creator, entirely through conversation. Every edit lands in a private draft; nothing changes on your live page until you explicitly publish it. Published pages are plain, static pages with no user-supplied code, hosted by Ava Research. The house line: Countercard drafts; the owner publishes.

What the Service is not

  • Not a guarantee of traffic, followers, sales, or search-ranking outcomes. Countercard builds and publishes the page you describe — nothing more.

  • Not a payment processor for your own business. The Service doesn't collect payments on your behalf, or on behalf of anyone visiting your page. It routes to links you already have.

  • Not a content moderation guarantee. A heuristic scan runs at publish time to catch obvious prohibited content, but it is a first pass, not a complete content-safety system — the real backstop is the "Report this page" path.

Your account and content

  • You must provide accurate information when you sign up, and you're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.

  • You may only publish a page for a business or identity you're authorized to represent.

  • You're responsible for the content of your page — links, text, socials, contact info, and any image you add.

  • Handles follow a reserved-name list (brand names, platform names, system words) and, once released by deletion, are held for 30 days before anyone else can claim them.

Prohibited content

Published pages may not contain phishing, malware, impersonation, illegal goods or services, or deceptive claims. A page found to violate this after a valid report will be taken down.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

  • Attempt to access another user's account, draft, or published page.

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service.

  • Use automated means to create pages in bulk or extract data beyond normal use through Muse.

Fees

Free covers one page, every core block type, 30 days of click history, and a small "Built with Countercard" footer line. Pro is $5/mo or $60/yr — multiple pages, full click history, and no footer line. Pro is billed by Stripe at an external checkout page; Countercard never handles your card details, and you can manage or cancel your subscription through Stripe's own customer portal at any time. No feature outside this list is paywalled.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, and rarely, the Service may be unavailable without advance notice.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, misuse, or abuse of the Service, including publishing prohibited content.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ava Research LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages related to a published page's content, its availability, or any outcome (or lack of one) from publishing it. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
